The days and nights have been going well.  Meghan is an excellent sleeper!  Emma has been doing great as a big sister.  She helps Aimee and I a ton, and has been really sweet to Meghan.

Meghan Ellen Connolly Is Here!

Wow!!  My how time flies!  Last post, Emma was just a baby still.  Now she is over two and a half years old.  

We are pleased to announce the latest addition to the Connolly Family

Stats:

Born 10-23-08 at 7:48am

7 lbs 9 oz

20 3/4" tall

Aimee and I arrived at the hospital this morning at 6:00 am.  Since Emma ended up being a C section, Meghan was going to follow in the same fashion.  They took Aimee away around 7:30am and I followed shortly.  The operation was relatively short and, as always, Aimee handled it perfectly.  Meghan didn't quite enter the world as pronounced as Emma.  Meghan was a bit subdued! 

We are just now settling into our first night.  Lets hope this one goes well!  I held off the nerves induced rash this time, so we can only hope I stay out of the E.R. this time.

Meghan seems to be quite peaceful and content.  She is making quite a few squeaks here and there, but not really putting up too much of a fuss.

Emma is now over 5 months old!! She is doing wonderfully. She is talking up a storm these days, and is now mobile! Emma is a rolling machine. She can easily roll from one end of the room the the other, quickly! Emma's greatest new thing is sleeping through the night! Aimee puts her to bed around 8:30 and we have to wake her up around 6:30. It is wonderful. Emma went to the doctor earlier this week for her third set of shots. She weighed 17lbs and was 27.5 inches tall. That puts her well into the 90% for her size!!
